I was first moved to begin Spiral Leadership in 2017 when I began to realize the extent that my own life and the lives of my clients were based on a leadership models that tilted in the extreme toward (often unhealthy) masculine values, strengths and styles.
It dawned on me then that in order to thrive, humans must connect and live into a broader vision of wholeness, a vision for all life to be respected and held as sacred.
But where were these new models of spirit-led leadership?
As I began to look around to find communities to join and teachers to learn with that would support me to develop more integrated leadership styles, I found some that emphasized the feminine qualities of leadership, but none prioritized our relationship with nature at the center of a leadership model.
So I created Spiral Leadership, which has an earth-based, feminine forward and overtly spirit-led approach.
I am fascinated by the ways that people access and apply their unique leadership in the world. How do we learn to trust that our intuition and vision serve the whole? How do we learn to share our wisdom in ways that are enrolling and compelling to others? How do we learn to collaborate in ways that are truly empowering to all involved?
We are in the midst of a mass rite of passage to meet immediate pressure for a planetary rebalancing. This deep impulse expresses in a combination of inspiration, creativity and hope experienced by many right now. A new world is seeking birth through new forms of leadership. Spiral Leadership is one path towards awakening this impulse.
I use the Spiral Way in everything I do. During Covid I have delved into the medium of writing to lead. Following the Spiral Way, I have written a book of poetry called Walk Deep which will be published by Homebound Press in October 2022. In addition to offering Spiral writing courses, I also offer private coaching focusing on successful leaders and visionaries who are ready to leverage their creativity for maximum impact.
